Projekt Frankenstein is an artist trying to discover the secret to Eternal Life. It is a cross between Back to the Future, Ponce de Leon, Evangeline, and Frankenstein. Driven by an obsession on the expulsion from the Garden of Eden, and the search for Eternal Life through Vampires, and Faeries, and monks, and rivers, and objects, and sea creatures. The obsession with Eternal Life, fighting damnation, and saving the living, and the dead, in order to make the perfect painting, results in an installation, in the form of a laboratory, where curiosity has no bounds, all subjects and leads may be studied, myths read, and listened to, miles travelled, and people interviewed. The quest to matter, to be eternal, archetypal, and unique, stand hand in hand. Strange combinations occur. Dreamscapes come to life, and the subconscious takes over the conscious mind, no longer bound by decency, or respect, rules, conventions, or any sense of what is appropriate,
In a search for playfulness, for the return to the Lost Paradise of innocence, of unconditional love illusion, in the quest for The Dream to come back, for fragility, pain, suffering, and endings to go away, and never come back. In the quest to no longer second guess anything.
In the goal of never being rejected, broken-hearted, isolated by force, a new World of creatures is built all around me.
I know The Secret Language of Trees, I am never alone again. I have my things, my research, and the World of the Spirits. And I can no longer understand you who would hurt me, who would cast me off, and reject me, and reject me, and yourself. A hateful, vengeful god who casts away your children. A god who wants to experience duality, multitude, war, famine, extermination, over and over again, without end; who gives us an opportunity for fleeting joy, destruction; and for what? Will we be extinct like the dinosaurs? Will we come back again, like they seem to be doing? Or, will we be forever in the plane of the Spirit?
Is the Spirit biger than the body, and the body just it contains temporarily? Is it learning what it came to do? Is it more powerful in this form or held back by materiality?
