Natalie Légère B.A. is a multidisciplinary artist from Moncton, NB, Canada. Her recent solo exhibits include The Owls of Turtle Island, Saint John Art Center, Saint-John, NB, Raptors, Galerie Marie-Hélène Allain, Bouctouche, NB, Impressions: Mandalas from Still Life, Galerie 12, Moncton, NB. Légere has participated in many group exhibits, artist residencies, and plein air painting events.
From 2020 to 2023 she made major changes to her practice by moving from abstract acrylic to representational oil painting, completing a two year mentorship with Dustin Neece, a former assistant of Odd Nerdrum’s, and workshops with many others.
Légère lives in Woodstock First Nations, NB, with her young family. She adheres to Native Spirituality, which influences every aspect of her life. Légère is an active member of artists’ associations, locally, and internationally. She is preparing for a second two persons’ exhibit with Roch Bourque, in February-March 2025: Couleurs, Galerie 12, Moncton, NB.
